Exciting Life
Well life's normal not too much happening around here at all. Same stuff different week.
The weekend was fairly quiet, i met afew friends for drinks and we eneded up meeting another of my friends at the hotel we go to dance at on Friday nights. It ended up a wonderful night - one set of my friends socialising with another, which to me is alway a nervous time.
anyhow one story from this Friday night was i came back from the girls room to find another man at our table with my friends i was introuduced to him and simply asked "do you dance?" Before i could get this question finished he'd grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the dance floor, i looked at my friends and said i only asked if he danced!!
Anyhow he was there with another female, i asked if it were his girfriend or potential girlfriend and he said they were just mates, they'd been "together" years ago but there was only friendship there now. anyhow we were dancing for about 5 songs and the next thing i knew he says to me "hang on i'll be back in a minute", and he runs out the door.
the girl he was there with had just walked out the door, i assume she'd cracked the shits becuase we were dancing. So 15 minutes later they came back inside and both of them went on the dance floor and neither of them spoke or even looked at us. the funny thing about this was the girl he was there with had her arm in a sling so they couldn't dance properly anyway.
I went out to talk to friends and came back in and they'd left without saying goodbye to anyone!
Going to these dance lessons is great fun and i am honestly loving it, but the problem is the women. When i first started dancing there one particular guy would dance with me and teach me new stuff during the beginners lessons because he and his wife don't dance during this time. A few weeks ago his wife wasn't there so he danced the ENTIRE night with me and at the end of the night says i really enjoy dancing with you (his wife is a larger sized lady and finds it a little hard to move freeley) But the next week his wife was back again and since that night he hasn't danced with me and has barley said hello. But i was told that i was being looked at all the time by his wife, with interesting type looks. So i wonder what the problem is there.
she's not the only woman that's been giving me interesting looks.
I'm just wondering if it's becuase i am hmmm probably 20 years younger than most of the women there and i'm not too disgusting to look at that the women are getting protective of their men.
My biggest problem dancing is there are few men that will dance with me. My friend who is in her 50's has no problems with men asking her to dance - but i do! LOL
Well i still love dancing and won't let these things put me off - i actually find it quite funny sometimes that these women are so protective, i don't even get dressed up to go there, i don't wear makeup and do myself up like they all do either - or maybe i'm totally wrong and i just have a huge booger hanging out my nose every Wednesday night, or maybe my arse is hanging out my jeans. Will have to double check these things before i leave for tonight's lesson :-)
Well for someone with not much to say this is for sure a long post!

"...cracked the shits..."
Boy, that's a new one on me.
Keep dancing with the old guys - they probably get more attention later that night from their wives than they have in years.

Maggs: It's pretty much equal to the shit hitting the fan, lets say they weren't happy.
Re trying to get pregnant - not trying no, just thinking about if i'm ready or not ready or what i want to do.

Howdy lady!
Maybe you intimidate them.
Maybe you are everything they wish they were?
Sounds like good fun!
